BSG Props Pair of GEPE Panels
Two, plastic faux button panels from the Galactica set, one large and mounted to a square wooden piece and the other, small and non-mounted. These are weathered and dirtied GEPE screens, each with hard plastic pieces glued to the top by production to resemble “buttons”. Both panels are coated with wax to give the appearance of age and distress and feature two wires at the back for power connection. Both screens function with a 12 volt power supply. No power supply included. One measures 14.5 in x 10.75 in x 1.5 in. The other is 6.25 in x 6 in x .5 in.
Provenance
Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
Multi button display panels as seen on the walls throughout the Combat Information Center and corridors on the battlestar Galactica. Panels like these were seen on wall panels close to intercommunications devices. Their function was not noted.
