BSG Props Pair of GEPE Panels

BSG Props Pair of GEPE Panels

Two, medium sized, plastic faux button panels, each mounted onto a wooden square piece with screws. These are weathered and dirtied GEPE screens, each with hard plastic pieces glued to the top by production to resemble “buttons”. One panel is missing one plastic button piece. Both panels are coated with wax to give the appearance of age and distress. The screens feature two wires at the back for power connection, and function with a 12 volt power supply. One screen’s light is extremely faint. No power supply included. Each measures 7½″ × 8¾″ × 1″.

Provenance

Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.

Multi button display panels as seen on the walls throughout the Combat Information Center and corridors on the battlestar Galactica. Panels like these were seen on wall panels close to intercommunications devices. Their function was not noted.
