BSG Props Battlestar Galactica - (ver 1) and Viper Pilot Patches

Production-made embroidered patch is made from a light gold (almost silver/white) background fabric with the Colonial Phoenix symbol and Battlestar Galactica BSG 75 embroidered in black thread. Measures 3½″ in diameter. The Viper patch has an off-white cloth background with the silhouette of a Viper Mk VII embroidered in blue, the word “Viper” in black and red stitching, and a black embroidered border. Viper patch measures 3½″ in diameter.

This is the first version of the Galactica patch created for the Miniseries. It was primarily seen on the left shoulder of background actors' duty blue uniforms or gray sweat clothes. It was later replaced by a patch made from better fabric. The Viper patch was seen on the shoulder of flight suits worn by Viper pilots. Patches like this appeared in numerous episodes throughout the series.
