Patches and Rank tape worn by actor Don S. Davis as “George Hammond” in the Stargate SG-1 episodes “Lost City, Part 2” and “Prometheus Unbound”. Hammond served as leader of the Stargate Command organization, a position he held with distinction for eight years before being transferred to Washington D.C. The character, like his real life counterpart, died of a heart attack. Production immortalized Mr. Davis’s contributions to the series by naming one of their space ships after his character.
