Lorne’s Dirty Black BDU from “Search and Rescue”
Production made, extremely dusty and distressed, gray uniform. No size available. The jacket has a zip front and features Velcro patches on the sleeves. The right sleeve contains an “Atlantis” patch and the left has an American flag patch. The pants are cargo-style with a button-fly, and snap fastening at the waist. Production has written, “Lorne” on the inner waistband. Also includes dirty, dusty and faded, blue, long-sleeved, polyester and Lycra knit shirt. Size M.

Dirty uniform worn by actor Kavan Smith as Lorne while he and Rodney McKay are trapped under a crumbled building in the Stargate Atlantis Season Five premiere, “Search and Rescue”. Major Lorne was introduced in the Stargate SG-1 Season Seven episode, “Enemy Mine”, but became a recurring character on Atlantis when the actor arrived to audition for the second season of the SG-1 spin-off. The producers, recognizing he had an established character, went ahead and transferred the character into the new show, thus expanding the fabric of Stargate canon.
