McKay’s Leather Variant Uniform from Season Five
Production made, black leather jacket with textured leather detailing on the front, collar and sleeves. The sleeves also feature suede panels and Velcro-affixed patches. The right sleeve contains an “Atlantis” patch and the left patch is a Canadian flag. No size available. Black, canvas, cargo-style pants with zip and hook/eye closure. Production has sewn a white label reading, “McKay March '08” to the inner waistband. No size available. Brown leather hiking shoes, size 10, manufactured in China by Merrell, missing insoles.

Leather jacket uniform variant worn by actor David Hewlett as “Rodney McKay” in the fourth season of Stargate Atlantis. As brilliant as he is disagreeable, Rodney McKay began working for the Stargate program remotely from Area 51, called in to put out fires at Stargate Command as needed. He was an obvious choice to lead the science team of the Atlantis expedition, and his knowledge of Ancient technology also played a key role in Sheppard’s unit.
