Production used lot of 5 comic books and 3 magazines. Comic books include titles “UKO,” “Id,” “Real Stuff” and “Ghost.” Magazines include “Sports Illustrated,” “ReKini” and “Maxim.” Comics measure 6.5in × 10.5in and magazines measure 8in × 11in.
Provenance
Received directly from the production of Defying Gravity.
Collection of magazines and comic books owned by Dylan Thomas’s character “Steve Wassenfelder.” Wassenfelder places this collection inside Antares’s time capsule in “Rubicon,” as part of the tradition started by Mike Goss. These are later given back to Wassenfelder by Ted Shaw, as Shaw did not want to force the crew to continue Goss’s tradition. Production stated these items were screen used.
