Stargate SG-1 Ori Sword in Sheath - Stunt

Stargate SG-1 Ori Sword in Sheath - Stunt

Molded rubber “sword”. The tip, pommel, and guard are painted to appear metal. The hilt is painted black and made to appear leather. The “sheath” is painted brown, and meant to appear wooden. Measures 40½″ × 2″.

Provenance

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.

Stunt sword used by an Ori warrior during the production of Stargate SG-1, appearing in its sheath. The warrior caste served as ground troops for their noncorporeal gods, the Ori, traveling to distant planets and forcing alien cultures into servitude and worship. Their message was always the same: follow the path of Origin or be laid down in the dust.
