Stargate SG-1 Atlantis Chair Back Set
Two, production made, cotton, canvas chair backs. One is solid blue and features white lettering reading “Bill Mizel” on one side, and the “Stargate Atlantis” logo on the other. The other is blue with a black border along the top and bottom. One side features the word “Stargate” and an “SG-1” logo printed in silver. The other side used to have lettering that read, “cast”, but the letters have been removed. The impression is still visible. Each measures 22″ × 7″.
Provenance
Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
A set of chair backs, one used in the production of Stargate SG-1 and the other used in the production of Stargate Atlantis. The Stargate SG-1 chair back is blank on one side, and the Atlantis chair back was used by first assistant director Bill Mizel, who has served as first AD on all three live action Stargate series.
