Stargate Smith Dog Tags
Set of two production-made metal military dog tags with rubber silencers on two beaded chains with clasps. Both tags have the imprinting of: “SMITH”, “248 17 6299”, “A NEG.”, “RC”. Both tags measure 2in × 1.25in. Chains measure 24in and 4.5in long.
Provenance
Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Screen used dog tags by a background actor portraying the character of “Smith” in an episode of Stargate. The production team at Stargate went to great lengths to make the Air Force elements of both television series extremely accurate, including providing background players with their own dog tags.
