BSG Props Socinus' Dog Tags
Production made metal dog tags on a brass ball chain that have been weathered. Front tag features the Colonial Phoenix emblem as well as “D. Socinus” and “ser. 293524” written across the bottom. The back tag features a larger colonial emblem. Tags measure about 1¼″ in diameter. The front tag has a reddish hue due to tarnishing.
Provenance
Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
Hero, weathered dog tags labeled by production as worn by Alonso Oyarzun, “Socinus”. Production noted these tags were used in the telefilm, The Plan. Standard brass, six sided dog tags worn by colonial military personnel throughout the run of the Battlestar series.
