Gold-Pressed Latinum

Production-made cast resin rectangular bars. One features smooth sloped sides while the other features sides sculpted to look layered and chipped. Both have intricate designs on the top surface and are painted gold. The large bar measures 4" x 8" while the smaller bar measures 2" x 5".

A brick and bar of gold-pressed Latinum used during the production of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Latinum is a liquid ore encapsulated in worthless gold and is used by the Ferengi Alliance as the most common form of currency. This brick and bar represent the largest and second largest denominations respectively. Both are cast resin painted gold and measure 4" x 8" and 2" x 5". From the collection of Doug Drexler.
