BSG Props Life-Size Cylon Centurion Standee
Black and white printed image mounted on foam core. Standee is worn from usage and has sustained “battle damage” to its lower left leg, right foot and head. Measures 7′ 2⅘″ × 2′ 8″ × ½″.
Provenance
Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
Life-size standee of a modern-era Cylon Centurion. Although Centurions were created to serve humans and humanoid Cylons, telencephalic inhibitors were installed to prevent the sentient mechanical beings from rebelling. This standee was used to provide an “eyeline” for actors in scenes that would later have computer-generated images of Centurions added in post production.
