Production made gold cubit contains the Colonial phoenix and ring symbol on one side, with the Caprica symbol on the other side of the gold cubit and the Scorpia symbol on the other side of the silver cubit. Metal cubits measure 1″ × 1½″. Triad cards are laminated, hexagonal-shaped playing cards with different colored borders and value denoted on the front of each card and a star pattern featured on the reverse side. Triad card is lightly weathered and measures 3⅜″ × 3″.
Provenance
Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
Set includes two metal cubits, one silver and one gold, and one green Triad card. Cubits are used for currency in business transactions and for leisure-time activities, such as shopping or gambling. Triad is a dedicated-deck card game similar to poker and a popular off-duty leisure activity. These cards were used in episodes throughout the series.
