BSG Props Starbuck’s Parachute
Military parachute made by Pioneer Recovery Systems and manufactured in March 1978. Parachute folded into a green army duffle bag that seals with zipper and buttons. Bag measures 29″ × 13″ × 12″.
Provenance
Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
Ejecting from her Viper after a dogfight with Cylon raiders that interrupted a training mission, Kara “Starbuck” Thrace crash lands on an unknown planet. After waking up on the surface she finds herself being dragged by her parachute by strong winds. Production labeled this parachute as “Kara’s parachute” from Season One’s episode “You Cant Go Home Again.”
