Post-sale context
Research, corrections and screen references added to this archive after the sale. The original catalogue text is above, unchanged.
Miniseries Dress
This dress was made for the Miniseries by Deborah Everton's costume team, and uses a different fabric than the versions created by Glenne Campbell's team for the series. The dress auctioned was the one actress Tricia Helfer was given prior to series wrap, but she swapped it out with the original lot as she preferred the fabric of the one made by Campbell's team.
Therefore, this version offered at time of auction is the only dress that makes use of a different fabric, and thus a one-off item.
Due to this last minute substitution due to logistical shortcomings, the photo and information presented in this catalog are therefore disparate and incomplete. An auction addendum may have been made, but is not available at the time of this writing.
Proceeds from this lot were donated to Tricia Helfer's selected charity, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
