Photographs: © Premiere Props
During pre-production and into the production itself of the epic "Lord of the Rings" films, great attention was played for both effects, art direction, costumes, and of course the real-live action. Actors had to become experts in all aspects of battle. This is an actor's off camera practice sword used during production. Hard foam hilt and handle with fabric wrapped grip. Foam blade with rigid core and black fabric cover. Approx. 44" long and 9" wide at hand guard. Oversized item. Additional postage required.
