From one of the most unusual John Wayne military movies, Jet Pilot (1957) in which Wayne falls for a Russian Spy, this is a production made Navy coat with the Western Costume label in the inside jacket chest pocket with "J. Wayne", written in ink. The jacket was made for Wayne for a sequence that does not appear in the final cut of the film.
