Romeo & Juliet Tybalt (Basil Rathbone) Costume
From what many consider the ultimate movie version of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet", the classic MGM version in 1936, personally produced by MGM's head of production, the legendary Irving Thalberg, this is Basil Rathbone's famous iconic under-vest with the famous metal almond-oval amulets that completely covered the sleeves. This costume is seen in many sequences, especially the ill-fated sword fight he has with Romeo. It has both the original red "Western Costume" stamp (number 46), and the original "Western Costume" label, with "RATHBONE" written in the original ink.
