City Beneath The Sea Script
Photographs: © Premiere Props
In an attempt to bring back his successful "Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea" franchise, Irwin Allen created "City Beneath The Sea" for NBC in 1970. It was a beautifully realized story of a 21st Century city under the ocean called Pacifica. The sets and effects were well above average. Stuart Whitman, Robert Wagner and Richard Basehart (from his "Voyage" series) starred along with a group of classic legendary actors including Paul Stewart and Joseph Cotton of "Citizen Kane" fame. We also saw the beginnings of Allen's famed "stunt casting" of sports celebrities with the inclusion of co-star Sugar Ray Robinson! This is a very rare copy of the Final Revised Production Script.
