Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea TV Pilot Script

A whole plethora of sci-fi classic shows owe allegiance to master showman Irwin Allen (who also masterminded the disaster movie genre). Adapting his successful futuristic submarine adventure "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" in 1961 (borrowed a bit from Jules Verne), he created the now classic series of the same name, which he directed and co-wrote in 1961, he created the TV series three years later. The likes of Gene Roddenberry and George Lucas have said that the film and series greatly inspired them in their own creations. This is a very rare copy of the final shooting script by Irwin Allen (who also directed the episode), for the pilot episode of the series entitled "Eleven Days To Zero" (dated November 8th, 1963). This episode was originally aired on September 14th, 1964, and the rest, of course, is TV sci-fi history!
