Vikings Queen Aslaug Alyssa Sutherland Production Used Tattoo Transfers Set 1

Listing date: 3/19/2021 Queen Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland), mother of 4 of Ragnar's sons, was the woman eventually ending Ragnar's marriage to Lagertha. These tattoo designs were seen on Aslaug throughout the series. The production team developed tattoo paper much like a transfer. They would print the tattoos on adhesive paper and then use sterile water to apply to the skin. Removing it is quite easy as they had a special gel that is first applied to the skin and dissolves the adhesive on the tattoo. The process allowed the production team to cut down on setup time and add additional pieces throughout the series that would later become an iconic symbol for the character.
