Immortals (2011) Hoplite Soldier Screen Worn Costume

The Hoplite soldier was a foot soldier in the Greek army who battled with a long spear and shield and fought as a team in formations known as the phalanx. The phalanx formation was designed in such a way in which they interlock their shields and lined up with their long spears over the top. These formations were difficult to penetrate once they starting marching forward. This is a costume of a Hoplite soldier from the 2011 movie Immortals.
