Ghostbusters (2016) Calvary Ghost Screen Used Stunt SFX/VFX Sword

From the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot, this is a SFX/VFX stunt sword carried by one of the "Red / Blue Coat Calvary Ghosts" during the Times Square battle between ghosts and the Ghostbusters. The sword blade is a sturdy urethane rubber made to look metal and wrapped in blue LED lights with a battery pack velcroed to the blade base above the hilt. This glow gave to the otherworldly ghost effect. All the ghosts in the battle were replaced with CGI in the final cut of the film, but if you watch the TImes Square special feature on the home video release of the film, you can see the stunt performers carrying these swords and many other weapons also affixed with blue LED lights. NOTE: a few of the LED lights on the blade no longer function. This piece is featured in the book "The HSPPA: Volume One - The Props Awaken" on Pages 28-29.
