Welcome!

Greetings, and welcome to The Prop Archive!
To get a brief overview of the scope of this endeavor, please check out the About Us page.
We're slowly adding to this site, which is presently in beta testing phase. During this phase, features may be undergoing enhancements, and some listings may be wonky.
If you find something wonky, you are welcome to submit an error report, which you may find a link to on any listing. You are welcome to submit things anonymously, as it does not require an email address at this time. Submissions are private, so no one but our editors will see them. (Well, that means myself, for now.)
In the time ahead, we will be putting out calls for information, particularly from collectors and subject matter experts (SMEs). We aim to be a professional and forthright group, so we have little interest in axe grinding; facts and critical thinking will rule the day.
Our goal is to curate a digital museum and research center for entertainment memorabilia, artifacts, and relics from across all eras. While our focus during this initial phase is collecting and curating items that have been sold publicly via auction, it is our intention to dig deeper, including old catalogs that predate the Internet. (Yes, such a time existed, perhaps in antiquity, but it existed nonetheless.) This means investigation, research, dissemination, and sharing information on our shared cultural heritage.
While there have been attempts at this level of transparency, none have quite made it to a professional and investigative apex that we strive for. And, I shall contend that we may never get there either, but we will damn well try.
Thank you for any consideration.
