Star Trek: First Contact Enterprise-E Bridge Console

"An exceptionally rare, freestanding Engineering Console from the Bridge ofthe Sovereign Class starship U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E, presently in itsfinal screen-used configuration from Star Trek X: Nemesis (2002). Thislarge set fixture measures approx. 66"" x 47"" x 17"" and made earlieron-screen appearances in Star Trek VIII: First Contact (1996) as well asStar Trek IX: Insurrection (1998). The base and pedestal portions of thispiece are constructed from sheet metal painted metallic bronze; while thecomputer control panel unit at the top is made from wood with inset acrylicLCARS panels at either end and a large 47"" partially transparent acrylicLCARS panel at center. The transparent regions of the top central panel aremeant to allow live motion graphics to be visible, that would have beenplaying on a pair of computer monitors (not included) once mounted insidethe console just beneath the top panel. If one were to stand at the shipsviewscreen and look towards the Captain's Chair, this Engineering Console(typically manned by Lt. Cmdr. Geordi La Forge when on the Bridge) would beto the right of the Captain's Chair. An identical Tactical Console locatedon the left side was manned by Lt. Cmdr. Worf. It is rare to see any largeconsoles from a U.S.S. Enterprise Bridge set appear at auction in recentyears, and this unit, in fine overall condition with light wear from its usein production, is highly presentable and an outstanding piece of Star Trekhistory. It would make a spectacular addition to any Star Trek memorabiliacollection, especially so at the onset of the 30th Anniversary year of StarTrek: TNG."
