Filming miniature of the Large Cardassian Viewscreen featured in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. This miniature "set" piece was used as the main view screen on the planet Cardassia, and can be seen in numerous episodes where Gul Dukat broadcasts to his people. This item was used in conjunction with real actors, wherein the miniature screen would be filmed and the actors would be inserted making the model appear larger than life. This piece has been re-dressed to appear different throughout the series. There are seven pieces of black felt present, one behind the oval view screen, and six smaller squares on the sides, these were used when the production inserted live footage. This item measures 48" x 26" x 15", and will require special shipping due to it's weight and size. From the collection of Gary Hutzel.
