A production made microscopic Nanite from the opening episode of the third season of Star Trek: The Next Generation. This model of a alien Nanite eventually took control of the computer core aboard the Enterprise-D. This piece is made of layers of sheet plastic and styrene, and has been painted silver. This piece was made to be featured under the microscope while Wesley was examining them. This item measures roughly 5" x 5.5" and remains in excellent condition. From the collection of Gary Hutzel.
