A prototype gaming chip used in the production of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. These "Dabo" chips were used by patrons of Quarks bar to gamble at the Dabo Tables. These were forms of playable currency and can be seen in numerous episodes of the series. This chip features a different style cut around the edges and the acrylic is thinner than the screen used version. Most noticeably in the center of the chip is a silver nickel, most likely used as a place holder until the final design was finished. Item measures 2" x 1.5" and remains in good condition.
