A gold plated version of the Reliant, a Miranda class starship that was made for use in the feature film Star Trek: Nemesis. In the film, a wall of miniature gold starships can be seen in the Enterprise-E's briefing room. This model, that was made by long time illustrator John Eaves, was one of three that were made for use in the film, but were ultimately not used due to time constrictions. This piece started out as a commercially available AMT model kit, that was then filled with resin and electroplated gold. This unique piece remains in excellent condition, and measures 18" x 11" x 5".
