Production Description: Klingon weapon used in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes "The Icarus Factor" and "Firstborn". Painsticks were notably used in the Second Rite of Ascension ceremony, where, in the final part, a young Klingon must walk between two lines of Klingons bearing painsticks. Technical Description: Long silver metal tube with a short black tube around the top. Features a gold metal panel on main body with four black resin buttons, three back stripes on the bottom and a intricate gold wire detail on the front. Measures 40in long.
