Irregular piece of plastic model detailing used on a visual effects miniature of the Klingon Battle Cruiser, this model fragment was part of an enlarged section of the engine pod, featured in the film's opening sequence. Technical Description: Made from sheet styrene plastic and styrene model parts. Measures 4.5in x 7.5in. Includes a black and white Photostat print of a storyboard from Apogee visual effects company, illustrating the use of the enlarged engine pod miniature in the film. Measures 14.5in x 19in and is dated 3/30/1979.
