BSG Presidential Election Tally and Ballots
Set of production-made Colonial Presidential Election Ballots--one with a vote for Gaius Baltar, the other with a vote for Laura Roslin. Ballots have been folded to protect the voters' anonymity. Each measures 4″ × 7¾″. Includes three stapled together white pages, production marked red ink and yellow highlighter. Measures 11″ × 17″.

The election that led to Gaius Baltar becoming President of the Colonies was decided with ballots like these. Four ballots feature a mark for challenger Baltar, the other four a mark for incumbent Laura Roslin. Baltar defeated Roslin in the Second Season episode "Lay Down Your Burdens, Part II. Included is the production sheet used as the master reference for the white board that held the detailed election information for the voting ships for scenes 103, 105 and 109.
