Black nylon mesh tactical vest with zipper front, lace-up sides, six horizontal belly pockets with Velcro closures, two vertical chest pockets with Velcro closures, left chest pocket is production modified to accommodate a radio antenna, webbing buckle on each shoulder, webbing and snap belt loops, back has three strips of webbing loops, size 8, production marked “CARTER” inside, manufactured in the US by Blackhawk. Black nylon P90 shoulder sling with adjustable webbing straps and front Fastex buckle closure. Black nylon adjustable 2.25in webbing belt with Fastex buckle, production marked “CARTER” inside. Black nylon zat holster with webbing and Velcro belt strap, and webbing and Velcro leg strap. U.S. Navy black metal diving knife with dull blade, black plastic hilt, and black webbing belt loop. Costume pieces are dusty and worn from production use.

Tactical vest worn by actress Amanda Tapping as “Samantha Carter” in Stargate SG-1. A valuable member of the SG-1 team, Sam worked on the Stargate project two years before Dr. Daniel Jackson managed to open the wormhole to Abydos. She worked her way through the ranks from captain to a full bird colonel, and eventually commander of her own Deep Space Carrier, the George Hammond.
