Puddle Jumper DHD Dashboard

Production made wooden cabinet with wedge-shaped front box, angled face, and angled top edges, painted olive drab with black recessed panels on sides of wedge box. On the angled face and the wedge box are recesses inside which are acrylic panels backed with a copper and black mesh decal, triangular holes are cut into the panels and there are triangular acrylic buttons with bronze constellation decals on their face, there is also a rectangular acrylic button on the wedge box, the buttons are backlit from behind when pressed, cabinet is open in the back, inside is a remote device that controls the brightness of the buttons, remote is labeled “PUDDLE JUMPER REMOTE” has two dial controls labeled “DHD BRIGHTNESS” and “DASH BRIGHTNESS”, functionality of lights and remote is verified, prop shows wear from production use, measures approx. 65.5in × 24.25in × 40.5in.

Dashboard used throughout the production of Atlantis. This console sat in-between both pilot stations for the Jumper. The glyph panel features are of the type used from Season Two forward, after the console was replaced. Dashboard is made of wood with angled edges and recesses for the acrylic glyphs, which light up when pressed. Cabinet is open in the back. Inside is a remote which controls the brightness of the glyphs. Measures 65.5in × 24.25in × 40.5in.
