Production made prop made of metal and MDF and painted gray with raised gold Ancient lettering and details, three translucent white plastic front panels, opening front door stuck on with butyl tape with three removable Ancient crystals in slots inside, and rear on/off switch. Measures approx. 4.25in × 15.25in × 3.25in. Production marked on back “BATTERY LOG” “NEW FEB 16 2005” NEW MAY 12/06“ ”NEW JUN 6/06“ ”NEW JUNE 14/07“ and ”AUG 27/07".

Door sensor with removable cover and three control crystals. These hands-free panels were used in numerous Ancient sets. Prop is made of MDF and measures 4.25in × 15.25in × 3.25in.

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Atlantis door panel sensor with removable cover and three Control Crystals, used throughout Stargate Atlantis. When a door refused to open, manipulating the crystals inside the panel would often allow access. These hands-free panels were used in numerous sets throughout the five-year production of the series.
