McKay’s Daedalus Patch Set
Two production made patches with Velcro backings. The first features a yellow star with red and yellow lightning bolts and the word “Daedalus” in white, embroidered on a blue field. Has a white, inner border and black outer border. Measures 4in × 3.5in. The second patch features the word “Atlantis”, embroidered in yellow with a white and blue winged horse symbol underneath. Measures 4in × 2.5in.

Set of patches worn by Rodney McKay in an alternate reality in the Atlantis Season Four episode, “The Last Man”. Both patches feature Velcro backing. Daedalus patch measures 4in × 3.5in. Atlantis patch measures 4in × 2.5in.

Daedalus patch set worn by actor David Hewlett as “Rodney McKay” in the Stargate Atlantis Season Four episode, “The Last Man”. As brilliant as he is disagreeable, Rodney McKay began working for the Stargate program remotely from Area 51, called in to put out fires at Stargate Command as needed. He was an obvious choice to lead the science team of the Atlantis expedition, and his knowledge of Ancient technology also played a key role in Sheppard’s unit.
