Catalogue text
Gun metal Leatherman folding multi-tool used by Rodney McKay in Atlantis. Features eight tools and key ring. Measures 2.25in × 0.75in × 0.5in.
Provenance
Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Multi-tool used by actor David Hewlett as “Rodney McKay” in technical situations on Stargate Atlantis. As brilliant as he is disagreeable, Rodney McKay began working for the Stargate program remotely from Area 51, called in to put out fires at Stargate Command as needed. He was an obvious choice to lead the science team of the Atlantis expedition, and his knowledge of Ancient technology also played a key role in Sheppard’s unit.
