Non-prescription glasses with brown metal frames, manufactured in Italy by Safilo Elasta. Black hard leather glasses case with black velvet interior, production marked “DANIEL HERO GLASSES ARCOAT FLATS” on yellow gaff tape. When open, glasses measure approx. 5.5in × 6in × 1.25in. Case measures approx. 2.25in × 6.25in × 1.25in.

Glasses worn by actor Michael Shanks as “Daniel Jackson.” Despite his repeated experiences in a sarcophagus, Daniel never developed improved eyesight. He occasionally switched to contact lenses, but mainly wore these glasses throughout the ten-year run of the series.
