Jaffa Warrior Costume (Size 44)

Production-made costume consisting of: heavy black wool trousers highlighted with silver paint to simulate chainmail with black elastic suspenders and Velcro front closure, size 40. Heavy black wool jacket highlighted with silver paint to simulate chainmail with five leather and metal buckle front strap closures and black drawstring collar, size 44. Rubber collar armor painted silver with gold and silver detailing with Velcro, webbing, and snaps attachment points, lined with black neoprene. Black denim vest with silver leather ribbed chest panels, back zipper closure, and cloth loop attachment points, production marked “44” inside. Silver leather pleated skirt with side lacing, black elastic suspenders, integrated Velcro belt, and 11in × 21in metal chainmail panel in front, production marked “35” and “MICK BERTO” inside. Front and back torso armor plates painted silver with gold detailing with lacing and Velcro attachment points and neoprene lining, back plate has 1in × 5in rubber belt loop and black Velcro belt panel. Rubber belt with integrated black webbing belt painted silver with gold and silver detailing with Velcro attachment points and clasp back closure, belt has integrated rubber belt buckle painted silver with gold and pink highlights, rubber belt is cracking where belt meets buckle, production marked “ZOLTAN” inside. Two rubber gauntlets painted silver with gold detailing, top and bottom pieces are laced together, rubber is cracking where wrist and hand armor meet. Two rubber greaves painted silver with gold detailing with lace-up backs, one greave is lined with red burlap and is production marked “18” inside, second greave is lined with black neoprene and has a silver leather boot cover and is production marked “17.5” inside. Black combat boots painted silver, size 10½, manufactured in Canada by Greb, production marked “SG1/A” “10½” “TENAT 1009” and other unreadable marks inside. Collar measures 25in × 27in × 8in, greaves 22in × 16in, torso armor plates 22in × 11.25in, belt 50in × 3in, buckle 9.75in × 5in, and gauntlets 11in × 3.75in × 5.5in. Entire costume is dirtied and distressed from production use.
