Teyla’s Costume from “Doppelganger”
Production made, leather and floral-printed suede jacket with fleece inner collar. Features corset-style, leather lace-up detail in back, as well as leather laces at the wrists. The right sleeve contains a Velcro-affixed “Atlants” patch. The right sleeve has no patch, but contains a rectangular Velcro area to be used for possible patch attachment. Production has sewn a white label reading, “Teyla” on the inner lining. Vest is leather with a snap front. Features embroidered lace detailing, as well as a black net panel in back. Also includes a white label reading, “Teyla” sewn to the inside. Pants are black, leather and spandex with floral printed suede detailing. The pants have pockets on the right and left thighs and a zipper on one side. Production-affixed white label reads, “Teyla. Modified May 08”, and is sewn to the inner waistband. No size available for any item, as they are all production made.

Costume worn by actress Rachel Luttrell as “Teyla Emmagan” in the Stargate Atlantis Season Four episode, “Doppelganger”. The leader of the Athosian tribe, Teyla gave up a life among her people to defend them from the Wraith by joining the Atlantis expedition. Her knowledge of cultures, and her martial arts skills, were key in helping Sheppard’s team navigate the treacherous Pegasus Galaxy.
