Production made costume consisting of: black corset-style wool tank top with black linen front panels, blue leather piping and trim, side zipper, and two rows of back laces; metallic silver fabric jacket with shimmering fabric shifts between a cheetah reptile patterns, clasp front closures, four metal decorative buttons, and black lining; silver leather vest/tunic with front button and strap and snap closure, metal broach/button decoration, and back laces, has three 2in diameter gray paint splotches on lower panels; black leather pants with black spandex waistband and black elastic stirrups. Costume worn by actress Rachel Luttrell in the Stargate Atlantis Season Four episode, “The Kindred, Part 2”. The leader of the Athosian tribe, Teyla gave up a life among her people to defend them from the Wraith by joining the Atlantis expedition. Her knowledge of cultures, and her martial arts skills, were key in helping Sheppard’s team navigate the treacherous Pegasus Galaxy.
