McKay’s Antarctic Outpost Costume from “Rising”

Production Description: Antarctic costume worn by actor David Hewlett as "Rodney McKay" in his first scenes of the Stargate Atlantis pilot episode, "Rising". As brilliant as he is disagreeable, Rodney McKay began working for the Stargate program remotely from Area 51, called in to put out fires at Stargate Command as needed. He was an obvious choice to lead the science team of the Atlantis expedition, and his knowledge of Ancient technology also played a key role in Sheppard's unit.
Technical Description: Costume consisting of: orange fleece jacket with gray fleece shoulders and chest pocket, zipper front, and drawstring waistband, size M/M, manufactured in Thailand by Mountain Equipment Co-op; two black poly/cotton long sleeve turtleneck shirts, size L/G, manufactured in Canada by Kombi; gray nylon snow pants with button and zipper front closure and Velcro and zipper side closures, size M/M, manufactured by The North Face.
