Defying Gravity Rollie Crane’s “G Phone”

Defying Gravity Rollie Crane’s “G Phone”

Production used non-functioning faux phone made from a solid piece of blue metal with the letter “G.” Features a clear plastic face plate with a faux phone screen printed on gloss paper underneath. Measures 2in × 3.5in.

Provenance

Received directly from the production of Defying Gravity.

G Phone used by Ty Olsson as “Rollie Crane.” G Phones were futuristic smartphone used by each crew member throughout the series. This phone is notably featured in “Deja Vu” when Rollie checks for incoming calls (hoping one of them is from his wife, as they had fought previously) while driving. As he was distracted, he hits a pedestrian that results in her coma and a coverup by Mike Goss and the ISO. Production noted this item as being screen used.
