Defying Gravity Mars Duffle Bag with Red Dust
Production used nylon duffle bag. White duffle bag with zip up top and two handles with criss cross stitching across the top and sides of the bag. Bag has been covered in red dust to the point where the white is no longer visible. Measures 21in × 11in × 14in.
Provenance
Received directly from the production of Defying Gravity.
Mars 40-42 mission duffle bag carried by Lara Gilchrist as “Sharon Lewis” in the pilot episode. Lewis carries this duffle bag, presumably with the Mars “Alpha” object, on the surface of Mars as she and Walker attempt to reach the shuttle. It is covered in red “Mars” dust that was used for the scene.
