Stargate Atlantis Light Up Wraith Hand Stunner

Stargate Atlantis Light Up Wraith Hand Stunner

Production-made resin hand stunner. Painted anodized gold and blue to simulate metal. Has an yellow oval plastic window on each side that lights up by use of a side switch on bottom of weapon. Lights work. Shows wear from production use. Measures 12.5in × 2.5in × 7.5in.

Provenance

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.

Stunt pistol used by both Wraith and humans in the production of Stargate Atlantis. As a stunt weapon, this pistol is a soft foam rubber version of the standard pistol, but is indistinguishable to the naked eye. Stunner pistols were introduced in Season Two of Atlantis as an alternative to the unwieldy stunner rifle.
