Production-made rubber sword segment. Painted silver and black to simulate metal. Measures 18.5in × 10in × 1in.

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
A stunt sword hilt of the type used by the knights in shining armor as seen in the Season Nine episodes “Avalon, Part 2” and “Camelot”. Cameron Mitchell defended himself against this weapon with the “Excalibur” sword in “Avalon, Part 2,” revealing that he had taken fencing classes in college.
