Stargate SG-1 Goa’uld Brazier

Stargate SG-1 Goa’uld Brazier

Production-made wood and metal brazier painted gold and black to simulate metal. Wood pedestal has a removable panel on side for interior access. Metal brazier is scorched from production use. Measures 16.75in × 16.75in × 39.75in; brazier is 23.75in diameter.

Provenance

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.

Brazier featured in countless interior Goa’uld sets for Stargate SG-1. The Goa’uld, who took on the mythos of the ancient gods of Earth, often preferred fire as a dramatic alternative to typical lighting fixtures.
