Stargate SG-1 Lord Yu Hat
Production-made iridescent cloth and black faux fur hat. Has a horsehair pony tail attached to top with a gold wrapping and a felt lining. No size information available.
Provenance
Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Alternate hat created for actor Vince Crestejo as “Lord Yu” in “Stargate Continuum”. This version of Yu’s hat was never seen on screen. Yu was introduced as a System Lord representative in the Stargate SG-1 Season Three episode “Fair Game”, when the Goa’uld travel to Earth to enter into diplomatic negotiations with the Asgard. He was killed in the Season Eight episode “Reckoning, Part 1,” and returned for a cameo in “Continuum”.
