Stargate SG-1 Prior Tabard
Production-made gray terrycloth tabard with lace-up sides and leather trim on collar and armholes. Has twelve leather Origin symbols sewn in (six in front and six in back). No size information available

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Costume worn by a Prior in Stargate SG-1 seasons nine and ten as well as the direct-to-DVD feature, “Stargate: The Ark of Truth”. Priors served as the missionaries for their noncorporeal gods, the Ori, traveling to distant planets and leading the armies of Origin. Their intent was always the same: follow the path of Origin or be laid down in the dust.
